Demand Generation Manager

Permanent, Full-time

An introduction from Andrew Underwood, Head of Marketing…

We have incredible opportunity for a talented Demand Generation Manager to join our team and amplify our efforts in driving qualified leads to sales. Cronofy is used by high performance teams to power scheduling at scale. The majority of our customers to date have embedded our scheduling tooling into their SaaS offering using our APIs. In the last year or so, we’ve extended our scheduling product to support business teams to schedule at scale from within the applications they’re already using.

We excel where scheduling is complex with multiple people and constraints, like recruiting, coaching and healthcare. We relentlessly focus on performance, security, support and reliability, making us the market leader in embedded scheduling infrastructure. The marketing team focuses on raising the profile of the business and generating new leads to support our high-growth plans. Alongside brand awareness and product differentiation, new business is key to our growth and success—this is where you come in!

With Cronofy powering scheduling for over 180k companies, this role is an incredible opportunity for you to accelerate the success Cronofy has had to date. Working within a team of product marketers, a marketing manager and content producers, this is an exciting role that will work across all marketing channels and support our high growth go-to-market goals.

The role

We are seeking an analytical, detail oriented Demand Generation Manager to join our growing marketing team. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing on lead delivery against monthly and quarterly lead generation targets, identify new inbound and outbound lead initiatives, and own our paid channels (Google Ads and LinkedIn) to amplify marketing campaigns.

To be successful in this role you will develop a robust understanding of both the needs and drivers of the market and how Cronofy delivers value against them. You’ll apply your knowledge of demand creation and demand capture strategically aligned with the marketing and sales teams.

Scheduling is a complex problem space with many sector and function-specific nuances. You will be accustomed to adapting your skills and expertise to work collaboratively across both marketing and sales.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Planning demand generation campaigns and activity, overseeing activities from execution to analysis
  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of reports, budgets, campaign performance, ROI, LTV, and other channel metrics
  • Collaborating with product marketing and sales to develop effective value propositions and key word strategies to drive meaningful engagement and leads
  • Hands-on management of all paid social, and PPC campaigns
  • Own experimentation processes around testing copy and creative to prove hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations
  • Leverage tools in our marketing stack (Hubspot, Plausible, aHrefs, Google Search Console)
  • Track lead lifecycle and conversion rates from first contact to closed deal through our CRM
  • Leverage lead and channel data to refine our lead tracking automation efforts

How you’ll work

We expect you to:

  • Be confident in planning, executing and reporting on all demand generating activities
  • Influence stakeholders and peers at all levels of the organization
  • Be customer-centric, able to understand customer needs, and use all channels and tactics available to reach and resonate with target audiences
  • Have the agility to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
  • Have a apacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks
  • Be flexible in the way you work and ability to travel when needed

As a Demand Generation Manager, your ability to effectively distribute our message in the market, drive revenue growth and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be critical to our company’s success. Your work will directly impact our market presence and the success of our products in meeting customer needs.

About you

  • Proven track record in an existing B2B demand generation marketing role
  • Strategic thinker that understands why people make purchasing decisions
  • Analytically inclined, with exceptional project and budget management skills
  • Confident in data analysis and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to inform your next tactical decision
  • Meticulous in your attention to detail and proactive in your approach
  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and meet deadlines

We understand demand generation is a broad and evolving discipline, so maybe you have worked agency side, sharpened your skills in-house or taken a less common route to performance marketing— either way we’d love to hear from you.

How we work

Our principles guide how we approach everyday.

We are a customer-focused business—whether that’s sales, marketing or product design.

We prioritize collaboratively. The marketing team meet daily to focus our efforts on the most important tasks, whether those are brand or product marketing initiatives. Critical for the brand and product team members to work cohesively.

Our marketing team is small, so prioritization of time and resources is critical.

We work hard but insist that everyone considers the balance between work and their life and responsibilities outside. We are direct in our dealings with each other. We continuously work to build mutual trust so that we can give each other feedback without fear of it being taken personally.

We can support a predominantly remote, office-based, or hybrid working model. We do really value face-to-face time and, where circumstances allow, encourage teams to spend regular time together at suitable locations. It would be most beneficial if the successful applicant was based in, or within a reasonably commutable distance to London.

Hiring process

It's as important for you to determine whether this is the right move for your career as much as anything else, so don't be afraid to ask questions.
